Formed in Bath & based in Bristol, gaws are a post-punk band that combine blues & psychedelia to create music that contains the frenetic energy of The White Stripes, the unconventional song structures of Queens of the Stone Age & the immersion of Pink Floyd. Commanding attention in a live setting, gaws are known for loud & emotionally intense live shows across their appearances at festivals and intimate gigs. Taking a pause in 2024 after a successful initial run, gaws are returning in 2025 to continue where they left off – playing bigger and better shows whilst releasing increasingly investing
studio recordings.
Highlights from the initial run:
Packed out headline shows in Bristol & London for ‘Who Knows’
Headliners of ‘Moles Fest’ 2023
Festival slots at Outer Town & Dot to Dot
Release of 4x DIY Singles

"Combining shrieking and electrifying vocals with inventive guitar passages... "Seen My Face" is an animated & unusual track that the listener is sure to not forget in a hurry." - RGM Magazine

Emerging from shadow and static, Losing Dogs weaves a soundscape rooted in contradictions and raw emotion, a fusion of euphoria, darkness, anxiety, and groove. Influenced by a collision of post-punk, darkwave, and brooding electronica, Losing Dogs is a restless exploration of chaos and calm—a soundtrack to the beauty of a slow decline.
