Essential Formulas: Standing on eight feet at the quadrapoint where post, math, prog and noise rock meet, Essential Formulas weave catchy riffs, shifting time signatures and droning atmospherics into a (mostly) wordless semi-narrative that even they do not fully understand.

Hexcut: Hexcut are a quartet of piano, electronics, drums and bass from Bristol, UK, which blend

elements of rock, jazz and electronic dance music into a sound which defies genre yet

appeals to many. Their influences come from many different corners of music, from Gogo

Penguin to High Contrast to Deftones! Hexcut have shared stages with a diverse range of

popular artists including LITE, Blank Banshee and Mildlife, as well as gaining slots at major

festivals such as Boomtown and ArcTanGent.
